About Kelye Rouse Brown
Kelye’s roles include president, executive coach, conference speaker, HR and seminar leader on positive employee and management training. Through KRB Business Solutions, LLC she specializes in communications and leadership, career coaching, and result driven solutions such as positive psychology to integrate work/life wellness for hospitality and service-oriented clients. Kelye is part of a start-up award winning concept/company in airports called Minute Suites, LLC and in 2012 formed a joint venture called Minute Leap DFW, LLC and in 2016 Minute Leap DFW A in Dallas Fort Worth, TX airport. In 2019, Kelye accepted the ACDBE (Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) of the year award for KRB Business Solutions, LLC in Texas. In 2020, Kelye graduated from the Wholebeing Institute with a certification in Wholebeing Positive Psychology.
Kelye impacts and motivates all levels of associates from those starting out in business to those in the board room. She leverages her success as a company founder and owner, a president and CEO, a corporate executive, coach, advisor, board member and volunteer. Kelye blends her corporate experience and entrepreneurial zest to deliver results that increase productivity and profitability.
Prior to launching her training business in 2005, Kelye traveled extensively across North America for Wyndham International to conduct orientation and training, oversee special corporate initiatives and projects and open small and large hotels. Her experience in the hospitality and training industry began 30 years ago while working for hotels as human resources and training director in the Washington, D.C. Metro area. Kelye is all about the culture of people, with a mission to enhance others’ lives to feel richer and more complete. Her motto: “Educate, Motivate, and Cultivate” sums up her approach to drive others to succeed from their core and be their very best.
She is a 20-year active member with CHART (Council of Hotel and Restaurant Trainers). She has earned a bachelor’s degree in speech communication and public relations and holds many professional certifications, including the most prestigious in the hospitality industry CHA (Certified Hotel Administrator), CHT (Certified Hospitality Trainer), and CHS (Certified Hospitality Supervisor). As a woman and small business enterprise, KRB is certified in her home state of Maryland, Texas, Georgia, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Arizona, VA/DC and Tennessee.
Kelye is married to a wonderfully supportive man, Steve, who loves to cook. Kelye enjoys connecting with others, food, wine and traveling. One of her favorite travel spots is Red Rock Sedona, Arizona where she says an amazing journey awaits.
